20 things that I believe might help

So you might have gathered I don’t have a clue on what I am doing… But here are a few things that I believe can help weight loss. I am not a nutritionist and something work different for some people.

  1. Chilies. Not only flavoursome, they can reduce salty cravings and appetite, boost fat burning and boost metabolism.
  2. Plenty of water. Boost metabolism of stored fats and is vital for survival.
  3. Exercise. Every little helps, walking even short distances or even walking up the stairs can help. Simple chores like house work can keep you moving.
  4. Avoiding too much salt. Salt attracts water increasing water retention, them extra few pounds make all the difference.
  5. Chewing more on food. Helps digestion and food lasts longer.
  6. Weigh yourself regularly and don’t lose track. Although weight naturally fluctuates throughout the day sometimes it keeps you on target if you can see how you are doing.
  7. Record what you have eaten. Sometimes things just slip in your mouth, recording these random occurrences can help you pin point where you are going wrong.
  8. Don’t go off track on a cheat day. Remain healthy by limiting intake of unhealthy foods. Cheat day can ruin the next few days if you over indulge.
  9. Commit to it. Tell people, you will be more likely to do it. Peer pressure for the win (like blogging, people now know meaning I have to do it!)
  10. Stay away from sugary drinks. Pretty obvious, sugar=bad, liquid sugar=even worse.
  11. Sleep. We all love sleep, unfortunately most of us don’t get enough.
  12. Increasing fruits and veg. Snacking on fruit is a sweet alternative to other sugary foods, adding fruit to salad can increase the flavour. Vegetables are fibrous and super good for us they are low in nasty carbs and are sometimes tasty.
  13. Dark chocolate. Everyone knows chocolate is good for us, the darker the better!
  14. Citrus slices in water. Adding slices of lemon or limes can boost flavour and get rid of some of our body’s toxins.
  15. Nuts. Perfect for snacking and have plenty of vitamins.
  16. Kale. Extremely low in calories but high in vitamin K and antioxidants, although tastes like dirt it is amazing for you.
  17. Being outside. Boosting happiness and giving a need to move. Being outside can also increase vitamin D intake and give a little colour to our skin.
  18. Be comfortable. Buy something that you will be comfortable to work out in (something that I still need to do).
  19. Lift weight. Weights whilst on the toilet or watching TV can make a difference.
  20. Eat food you like. You are more likely to stick to something if it tastes good. Some tasty things can be healthy too.
If you have any helpful tips post them in the comments!!
